Conveniently ready before your arrival.
At the time of entering the Philippines, every visitor is required to register or update the eTravel.
The eTravel system is a digital platform for passengers arriving in or departing from the Philippines. The collected data is used for border control, data analysis, and health monitoring. It is free of charge for travelers, and the process can be completed before arriving in the Philippines.
eGovPH APP
The easiest way to comply with the entry regulations for The Philippines is by downloading the eGovPH APP. After downloading, simply input your personal data and create a Travel Declaration.
The declaration should include your trip details such as your flight information, the first address where you’ll stay, and your intended departure date among others.
This process takes less than five minutes, makes passport control with immigration officers smoother at your arrival airport, and is completely free.
After completing the Travel Declaration, the eGovPH APP will display a QR code, confirming that your declaration has been successfully submitted. The Immigration officer will have access to your declaration details when they scan your passport. Keep the QR code handy in case any issues arise.
You can download the eGovPH APP and register yourself and your trip to The Philippines. Refer to the FAQ section at the bottom of this page for additional details.
Planning your trip to Coron
Philippine Temporary Visitor
Foreigners from most nationalities can visit the Philippines (tourism proposes included), without a visa for a temporary stay of up to 30 days. This stay can be extended by another 29 days (totaling 59 days) through the Bureau of Immigration’s online facility or at any of their offices located in every province of the country.
If a visitor wishes to extend their original stay in the country beyond 59 days, they must secure an extension of stay from the Bureau of Immigration at any of its offices nationwide. This extension can be requested for one or two months.
If the visitor wants to further extend their stay beyond the initial 59 days and the additional 2 months, the process remains the same. The extension must again be secured at the Bureau of Immigration, and it can also be requested for one or two months.
If the visitor wishes to stay beyond the already extended period of 59 days plus two months plus another two months, additional formalities are required, including but not limited to obtaining a police clearance.
Refer to the FAQ section at the bottom of this page for additional details.

What is the eTravel System?
The eTravel System is a digital platform designed to collect data from passengers arriving in or departing from the Philippines, serving purposes like border control, health monitoring, and economic data analysis.
Who is required to register?
Arriving Filipino and foreign passengers, as well as departing Filipino passengers.
I'm not Filipino, should I register?
Yes, you have to register your arrival in a Travel declaration. As a foreigner, you don’t need to complete any formalities when leaving the country; just ensure you haven’t overstayed your authorized duration.
Does the process require a lot of effort?
Absolutely not. The Travel declaration can be completed in advance, as before your flight to the Philippines. It only takes about 5 minutes to finish. The process can be done on the eTravel System website or through the eGovPH app.
Is it possible to complete this at the airport upon arrival?
Yes, you can complete it at the airport upon arrival, but it’s not recommended, as you might need to find working Wi-Fi, gather your passport, departure flight, and accommodation details, all while standing in line near the Immigration officer booths. It’s definitely more convenient to handle it while relaxing on a sofa or even sitting in the bathroom waiting for nature’s call.
Once your Travel Declaration is ready, you can save the QR code in a screenshot and rest assured that you won’t waste time at the arrival airport in the Philippines while your baggage circles endlessly on the carousel.
I'm travelling with my partner. Can this tramit be completed together?
Yes! In fact it would be faster if one of you is filling the forms with the data the the other one is supplying, passport number, passport expiration, accommodation details (if any), departure flight details… and so on.
