Maquinit, the only Salt water Hotsprings in The Philippines
Maquinit Hot Springs is the only saltwater hot spring in the country and one of the few in Southeast Asia. This natural spring draws its saltwater from underground, heated by geothermal activity, creating a unique and relaxing experience.
Surrounded by mangroves and stunning scenery, it provides an open-air setting for visitors to unwind. The springs maintain a soothing temperature of 37 to 40 degrees Celsius (98 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit), making it especially enjoyable during cooler evenings.
The warm, salty pools are believed to have therapeutic benefits for the skin and muscles. Nestled in a lush tropical area with mangrove forests, the hot springs offer a tranquil and serene atmosphere. Wooden boardwalks connect the pools, inviting visitors to take a leisurely stroll or simply relax while soaking in the peaceful surroundings.
Maquinit Hot Springs is open until 8 PM, with the last entry allowed at 7 PM.
